The Best Wake Up….
I’m a little amazed that I’m still really enjoying getting up at 6.30am (you get so much more done with your day)! As the sun is coming up, spending an hour or so self practising Asana (the postures) and Pranayama (breath control), with some incense burning, candles on and all is still and quiet here in Darwin at that time. But the best thing I have recently discovered, although known about for some time is fresh lemon and ginger in hot water!!!!! WOW, I actually look forward to it the night before, it’s such a great cleansing drink, settles the stomach and awakens the digestive system. It’s so easy to make and cheap, great to have before your fruit, yoghurt, muesli or smoothie!!…….. so give it a try if you don’t already!
