Been meaning to do this for a while, so here it is finally, one of my class sequences that I aim to work to in my Beginner/Intermediate yoga classes…
June 2011 Class Sequence – Agoy Yoga
Nadi Shodana – Pranayama breathing technique
Seated Sukasana/Virasana
Eagle arms with breath
Gomukhasana arms
Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana (Side revolved Head-to-Knee Pose)
Upavista Konasana – Side flow
Reversed Table top
Matsyasana open and closed twist (both sides)
Bidalasana
Side arm openers from table top
Ado Mukha Virasana to Cobra Vinyasa
Adho Mukha Svanasana – Down Dog
Reverse Down Dog
Chataranga Dandasana
Down Dog – Walk out legs
Plank – Side – 1 legged
Down Dog – Raise on to balls of feet and lower heels
Low Lunge – Side knee, hip opener (both sides)
Down Dog
Dolphin/plank flow with breath
Down Dog
Surya Namsakar A/B
– Hold in Uttanasana, side twist arm opens
– Tadasana, hands in Anjali Mudra
Vkrsasana (Tree)
Garudasana (Eagle)
Virabhadrasana 1, forward fold flow
